Each month on the second Thursday at 7:00pm, the Alta Community Leadership team meets at Hilltop United Methodist Church in Sandy to discuss items related to the success of our community of girl scouts, their troops and their leaders.
This month, we focused on the upcoming Day Camp (Iron Chef theme, discount code for our community’s girl scouts), our pool party and renewal event (top sellers get special recognition and patch), and our annual Never the Same Weekend (planning begins next month). We also discussed information from Council that requires additional training for leaders (CPR/First Aid/AED).

Looking ahead, our next meeting is in September. The Leadership team will discuss our 2017-2018 budget and make plans for our 2018 Thinking Day event. If you would like to include anything on the meeting agenda, please let Brooke Temby (BrookeTemby@gmail.com) know.
All members of Alta Community are invited to attend our monthly meeting. Each troop should have a representative present. This is a great way for a parent to be involved in the troop – it involves only one meeting a month and the information presented can usually be shared with an email! With a troop representative at our monthly meetings, your troop can always be current on information and represented in community decisions.
